Overview

Pizzeria Da Zorma, nestled along Fondamenta dei Ormesini in Venice, offers a genuine slice of Italian pizza culture. This small takeaway spot shines with a menu that balances classic and inventive choices. From the fiery kick of their Pizza Diavola and the unique zest of the BRG Pizza Bresaola Rocket Grana Padano to traditional staples like Pizza Carbonara and 4 Staggioni, every pie reflects careful craftsmanship and local flavor.

The setting is modest—more a cozy takeaway than a full-service restaurant—with limited seating that invites quick bites rather than lingering dinners. Yet, this intimacy adds to its charm, attracting both locals and visitors who seek authentic, satisfying pizza on the go. The location along a peaceful Venetian canal enhances the experience, especially if you choose to enjoy your meal outdoors by the water.

Customer experiences consistently highlight the quality and freshness of the pizzas. Whether it’s the thin, crispy crust of the Margherita, the bold flavors of the Pepperoni, or the more unusual options like Pizza Diavola Con Cipolla and 節瓜pizza, the taste is memorable and well-balanced. The staff’s friendly and efficient service complements the flavorful offerings, with orders often ready in minutes unless the weekend rush slows things down slightly.

Pizzeria Da Zorma appeals to various audiences—from tourists craving a quick, delicious meal between sightseeing to locals who appreciate a dependable, well-made pizza at a great value. Its approachable menu, combined with the vibrant yet laid-back atmosphere of Venice’s Fondamenta dei Ormesini, makes it a worthwhile stop for anyone wanting to indulge in authentic Italian pizza without the fuss.

Very nice experience!! During our short stay in Venice we ate here multiple times, it’s a small take away pizzeria, and everytime the pizza was delicious, so overall great value for money (be aware that on Saturday evenings it’s more crowded so it takes more time for the pizza to be ready). Grazie mile!!

We were drawn in by the exceptionally high rating. When we arrived, we saw it was just a tiny little spot — more of a takeaway pizza place than a restaurant. But there are a few seats inside where you can grab a quick bite. We were very hungry, so we picked from the pizzas that were already prepared and on display. You can get slices, a small whole pizza, or order a larger one. We chose a couple of slices — Margherita and salami — and had them warmed up on the spot. Honestly, the pizza was absolutely amazing. Simple, but full of flavor — just perfect. We also had some lemonades, and they were surprisingly delicious too. Small place, big taste. Definitely worth a visit.

Very very tasty pizza We saw a lot of locals buying from this place which is a good sign. This is a small place, more like pizza to go, but it's worth it

Delicious pizza in a peaceful section of Venice. You can order plain pizza by the slice or full pizzas (personal and large) with many toppings options. There are a few seats by the window or you can sit outside on the canal steps. We arrived shortly after opening so it wasn't crowded. The workers were also friendly. A great spot for some good pizza after exploring Venice.

It was great pizza, amazing prices (7-10€), the guy was great, really friendly. Pizza came out fast and hot, waited for 5 minutes tops since I ordered. I had a margherita, which was great, thin crust, crispy and tasty, tomato sauce was incredible too and the cheese was great. Not too oily but it wasn't dry either. Amazing experience overall. Would recommend and I will come back.

Top taste pizza. It is far from the center, but you should visit this place. We ordered one Diavola take away. They made it immediately and it was really good. Despite it was taken in a box to hotel, it tasted great. For 30 cm i suggest bigger boxes, because this one was too small. Maybe the photo is not impressive, but it looked great

If you go get the Maxi pizza be advised - you will get the Maxi pizza. They are 1:1 comparable to the giant one lying on the counter sold in slices. Make sure you are really, REALLY hungry if you make the same choice as I did.... Also make sure your hair is okay as people laughingly will take pictures of your stupidly large pizza if you eat it by the window of the shop! Pizza was delicious all the way through and really cheap - just be advised, not many seats inside so probably best for takeaway. Love, Denmark!
